To produce Pincerna red, the premise was to work on the vineyard to increase and enhance the aromas of the wine. Coming from a vineyard between 20 and 30 years old, this prieto picudo wine from León undergoes both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, in stainless steel tanks.
As a young red, it is balanced in its entirety: attractive color, aromas of fresh fruit (black plum, blackberry, cherry) and also of ripe fruit (very ripe strawberry, quite ripe cherry), and a pleasant sensation of roundness in the mouth.
Pincerna red is a great option if you are thinking of buying a prieto picudo red wine at an affordable price but with a very nice quality. A good value.
